The buffalo (American bison) leather this vest was built with was provided by the buyer - the lacing for it is my moccasin cowhide leather. It has pointed yokes on the front and back, two patch hip pockets (without flaps) that also have matching inside pockets = four pockets in total.
This back view of the vest shows a better view of the back yoke.
I mostly provided this front view because it was taken inside with some lighting.
Same as this back view, provided just because of the diffent look circumstances can have.
 buffalo leather vest

The parts of this western style vest were cut from buffalo leather that was provided by the guy who ordered it. The laces for the seams, edges, yokes, and pockets were cut from moccasin cowhide leather ...a combination that makes for a nice sturdy vest.

Over the last 40 years, I've custom built hundreds of vests - you can see over 50 of them on my vests home page. While they are all braided, that's pretty much where their similarities end. After seeing the many features I can offer, folks contact me with their own ideas/designs and we discuss how I should build one for them. Each vest ends up truly being a unique, handmade, long lasting, one of a kind piece.

I struggle taking pictures. With this vest I tried taking them inside and outside. To me, neither turned out so hot. So, here are both tries at it
