The black motorcycle vest has a large brass (YKK #10) zipper and two patch pockts with flaps. It also has a 3" back/bottom draft flap extension.

This biker's vest is constructed with durable leather braiding. All of the seams, edges, pockets and their flaps are braided with high quality, full grain moccasin cowhide. The lacing for it is cut from the same leather as the parts of the vest are cut from. It has a 3" draft flap on the back/bottom of it. The large brass zipper is hand sewn with 5 ply nylon thread. The arm holes were made slightly large to accommodate it being worn over a jacket.

Moccasin cowhide is thicker (4 oz.) than what most vests are built with ...which makes for a quite rugged and long lasting vest.

Over the last 40 years, I've custom built hundreds of these vests. You can see over 50 of them on my vests home page. While they are all braided, that's pretty much where their similarities end. Each buyer tells me what they'd like ...and then I ask the questions to complete the details about it.

This picture shows a better view of the back of the vest and it's draft flap extension.
Below is the back view of this vest. Notice the extended draft flap. The picture is linked to a larger image.
