This fringed braided leather bag has two side pockets, a large pocket on the back, and my butterfly applique on the flap. I can add fringe to most any of the bags that I make - lately I've been using more and more of it. The lacing that I use is quite heavy and makes for strong, durable fringe. The braided leather strap on it has three lengths of braiding extending the length of it - one on each edge and the third one down the center. The flap isn't crooked, like it looks in this picture, and the fringe looks nicer than it does here.
The pictures on the left and in the center are views of the front of this bag with the flap flipped to the back. The picture on the right is a back view that has the full width pocket. I use large brass #10 YKK zippers on most all of my bags. All of the zippers are hand sewn in with strong nylon bees-waxed thread. All three of these pictures are clickable for larger views.
