This fringed braided leather bag has two side pockets, a large pocket on the back, and my butterfly applique on the flap. The 1/4" wide laces that I use are quite heavy and make for strong, durable fringe. This purse has a long strap with three lengths of braiding down the length of it - one on each side/edge and a third one down the center. All of the seams of the bag are braided.
The pictures on the left and in the center are front views of this bag with the flap flipped to the back of the purse. The picture on the right is a back view of the the full width pocket. Like this purse has, I use large brass (#10 YKK) zippers on all of my products. The zippers are hand sewn in with 5 ply nylon bees-waxed thread. This small Black shoulder bag has fringe hanging from the front pocket and the bottom of it. The top of the pocket, the seams of the bag, and the 8 strand strap with tassels are all done with three colors of 1/4" wide laces. The bag is about 7" high and 8" wide and has a large brass zipper across the top of it.
